We thank Mr Mansfield and his team for their hard work in making this such a special night. Well done children, absolutely brilliant. (Sorry but children from other schools were in the photos so we cannot upload).

Yet another sweltering after school event saw the Rangemore Girls enter an all girls football competition at William Shrewsbury.  We were placed in a tough group with two sides from William Shrewsbury and the other from Richard Crosse.  Even under these boiling conditions the girls put in some stella performances and we witnessed some potential stars of the future emerge.  Our results for the three games were two draws and a loss.  Unfortunately this was not enough for us to get through to the semi finals but we all agreed we had a great time trying.

  • kwik cricket

    Published 23/05/17

After learning the game of kwik cricket in P.E lessons this term, a team of Year 3 and 4 boys and girls entered an East Staffordshire Sports Partnership tournament.  The tournament was held at Burton Cricket club on a very sunny afternoon.  Few of our team had cricket experience other than at school and we knew we would be up against some players that had much more experience than ourselves.  The team spirit was fantastic with thorough encouragement at all times for all of our players. The team started off with a win which gave us confidence.  We went into the second game and although we fought hard we succumbed to our first loss.  Although nervous we had to wait for results from the other groups.  Joyfully we made it through and found ourselves in the semi finals.  This was an amazing battle in which we emerged victors, incredibly by only one run!  Into the final we went, this was against the team we had lost to earlier in the group games.  The team battled on and saw confident and controlled displays from the boys and girls in the final.  We didn’t win this time but we gave it a great go and certainly gave the other team something to think about.  I am very proud of the players and felt lucky to witness another fabulous sporting achievement for All Saints Rangemore. Mr Meir.
