  • Burton V Derby Match

    Football: Burton Albion V Derby County, Tuesday 21st February.

     

    We were very fortunate to be asked to represent Burton Albion in a mini tournament against a Derby school - this happened prior to the Championship league fixture at Pride Park.

    The boys played dodgeball, handball and football matches; they played brilliantly and we won all the games.  The boys were a credit to the school showing enthusiasm, skill and sportsmanship.

    The team were presented with their medals on the pitch before kick-off and then were given complimentary tickets to watch the Burton V Derby match.

  • Safer Internet Day with Burton Albion

    Children in classes 2 and 3 were reflecting on the key messages of online safety during PE this week with one of the coaches from Burton Albion. This tied in with Safer Internet Day on the 7th February and reiterated the safety messages we instil in the children to keep themselves safe when online,

  • Save the Children Christmas Jumper Day

    The children took part in the annual Christmas Jumper day raising money for Save the Children, a festive day had by all.

  • Needwood's Got Talent!

    The children put on a fantastic display of talent for the whole school today, from singing to piano playing, magic tricks to dancing it was a treat to watch. Well done to all who took part!

  • Christmas Party Lunch

    The children really enjoyed their Christmas Party lunch carefully prepared by Mrs Bennett in the kitchen. It was lovely to have all the children sharing lunch together, talking to each other, pulling Christmas crackers and singing along to the festive music. A great lunch had by all.

  • YMCA Christmas 2016

    Children across the Forest Federation collected lovely ‘luxury’ items to send to the YMCA for Christmas, crisps, cakes, biscuits and even jewellery were sent to enable the people at the YMCA have a nice Christmas. They brought these items in on our Christmas Party day, sharing the love. Thank you to our families who donated.

  • Christmas Party Afternoon

    Santa made a special visit to school during the Christmas party and delivered a gift for each child. We wished him a Merry Christmas before he went on his way. We would like to thank the PTA for arranging this for the children.
