  • Reflection in Worship

    In worship on Monday 18th June, the children reflected upon the fruit of the spirit 'goodness'. The children thought about how God shows goodness and also how they could show goodness to a friend, a member fo their family and someone in their community. It was a lovely reflection time.

  • Worship Team

    In worship on Wednesday 20th June, the worship team led worship about the bible story of Joseph and his amazing dreamcoat. The whole school were captivated by the performance and reflected upon the story in prayer. A super worship!

  • Star Foundation

    On Wednesday 20th June the children enjoyed a bootcamp with Jamie from Star Foundation. The children played team games, practiced skills such as squats and push-ups and had a thoroughly enjoyable time being active! Many thanks to Jamie for his visit.

  • Musicshare Hill Street Baptist Church - Grease

    Children, families and staff had an absolutely glorious evening at the music share concert at Hill Street Baptist Church. We thank Mr Mansfield for putting together a wonderful evening of Grease Music! The children sang brilliantly and were clearly enjoying themselves, it was great to see everyone enjoying the grease mega mix!

  • Fathers' Day Breakfast and Service.

    Thank you to all the Dads, Grandads, Uncles, Cousins, Mums and friends, who attended our amazing Fathers’ day service. The children performed amazingly from all classes and had some lovely and rather funny things to say about their father figures. I hope you all enjoyed your breakfast, it smelt delightful and what a lovely atmosphere around school this morning!

  • Jordan Lambert Collective Worship

    This morning Jordan focused on the fruit of the spirit patience. He told the story about how Jesus performed the miracle of turning water into wine. He talked about how the guests showed patience, especially Mary. Jordan linked this to learning and how we show patience in the classroom and in our lives.

  • Kate Slater - Artist in residence!

    She worked with all the children across the Federation sharing 'The Birthday Crown' in which she illustrated using paper collage. The children asked some interesting questions and then had a go at creating collages of a variety of animals which we hope to display in school. How wonderful!​

  • POP UK Social Media Day

    The children have spent the day learning about how social media can impact on peoples' mental health. They have explored this topic through music. They have learnt the words and dance routines to the songs written by Pop UK. They then had the fantastic opportunity to record these songs with a professional sound technician. At the end of their day, the children shared their hard work with parents. It has been a thoroughly enjoyable day and the recorded songs will be available for download after half term.

  • Royal Wedding

    Children and families had a beautiful day at our ‘Royal Wedding’. These celebrations included street parties, regal cars, flowers, formal services with wedding parties which included Prince Harry and Meghan Markle as well as the Archbishop of Canterbury, other member of the royal family and celebrities! We thank everyone for such a special and amazing day.

  • Newvorough Well Dressing 2018

  • Mr Coltman's Worship

    On Wednesday 2nd May, Mr Coltman joined us to continue the story about the stepping stones of Jesus' life and shared with the children stories of Jesus' kindness right up until the very end of his life. As always we are very grateful to have Mr Coltman for delivering such a wonderful worship.
